Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday said Russian officials were "pathological liars" who "cannot be trusted," hours after Donald Trump criticized him.

“We must never forget that Russia is run by pathological liars, they cannot be trusted and they must be put under pressure,” Zelensky urged on social media. On Tuesday, Donald Trump had described the talks with Moscow as “very good” and criticized his Ukrainian counterpart, implying that he was responsible for the war that began with Russia’s invasion in February 2022.
