Burkina Faso : Deux acteurs judiciaires incarcérés dans une affaire de fraude foncière
The Attorney General at the Bobo-Dioulasso Court of Appeal has announced the imprisonment of several judicial officials involved in a vast land fraud network in Ouagadougou. They include a magistrate, a chief clerk, and two clerks, prosecuted for stellionism, corruption, forgery, and complicity in forgery of public documents.
The investigation reveals that between 2021 and 2025, more than 385 fraudulent court orders were issued to facilitate the illegal sale of plots.
In exchange, the accused received sums of up to 1.5 million CFA francs per case or plots in kind.
The prosecution assures that the procedure will be conducted with respect for the rights of the accused, while guaranteeing justice for the victims.
