Cheikh Oumar Diagne qualifie un ministre d'« incompétent » face à la pénurie de sucre
Cheikh Oumar Diagne is back at it. Invited onto the 7TV channel, the former Director of General Resources at the Presidency openly questioned the abilities of the Minister of Commerce, Serigne Guèye Diop. "Minister Serigne Guèye Diop is incompetent," he declared, in response to a question about the predicted sugar shortage on the Senegalese market. According to him, the current management of the sector meets neither the expectations nor the requirements of the ministerial position. He went further, pointing the finger at the Senegalese Sugar Company (CSS), which he accuses of blocking access to sugar. "The Senegalese Sugar Company has taken consumers hostage," he denounced, calling for a firm response from the state.
