Ziguinchor : Le ministre de l’Emploi et de la Formation professionnelle et technique lance le Fonds d’amorçage PFPI pour l’inclusion des jeunes, les femmes et les jeunes en situation de handicap
The Minister of Employment and Vocational and Technical Training, Amadou Moustapha Ndieck Sarré, launched the Vocational Training and Integration Project Fund (PFPI) in Ziguinchor, which aims to train 181,350 young people by 2027, with a particular focus on women and young people with disabilities.
And in an effort to promote youth employability and equal opportunities, the focus is on women and young people with disabilities. "Seventy percent of young people will be women, and young people with disabilities will represent 5% of the workforce," explained the minister, for whom "sustainable development requires equal opportunities."
Agriculture, the green economy, the blue economy, digital technology and innovation are the sectors dedicated to this fund, explained Mr Sarré, who believes that it is a bet on ambition and inclusion that the authorities are thus launching through Vision Senegal 2025.
"The launch of the Seed Fund for the Vocational Training and Integration Project marks an important step forward in our commitment to building a more inclusive and prosperous Senegal," continued Minister Sarré. "It is a national vision supported by the National Transformation Agenda, Vision Senegal 2050," he added.
Thus, he invites young people to move towards entrepreneurship and thus contribute to the growth of Senegal.
