CHAN 2024 : la Guinée éliminée
Eliminated from the 2025 Morocco CAN and left behind in the World Cup qualifiers, Guinea hoped to revive its form during this 8th edition of the CHAN. But the Syli National were eliminated in the group stage.
This Friday, in their fourth match in Group C, Guinea were held to a 1-1 draw by Algeria. They had taken the lead thanks to Ismaël Camara's opener in the 62nd minute. However, two minutes from the end of regulation time, Bayazid equalized for Algeria in the 88th minute.
With four points from four matches, the Syli National are out of the competition. As for Algeria (2nd, 5 points), they still have every chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

tant qu'il se focaliseront sur le SENEGAL qui est a un un autres niveau ...qui ne boxe pas dans leur catégorie ..ils seront toujours éliminés .....
Depuis le départ de Kaba Diawara, le football guinéen n'arrive plus à progresser. C'est dommage car ils ont un bon championnat qui regorge de joueurs talentueux. Kaba a eu raison sur tous ses détracteurs qui ont organisé une campagne de dénigrement à son égard à cause de la jalousie et la haine.
