Mady Touré promet de tourner la page Génération Foot s'il est élu président de la FSF

Mady Touré has officially declared his candidacy for the presidency of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF). During a ceremony held this Monday, the founder of Génération Foot announced his decision to step down as head of the academy he brought to the top, should he be elected head of the federal body. "If I am elected president of the FSF, I will resign from my position as president of Génération Foot. The FSF is no small matter. When I am elected, my only concern will be the management of Senegalese football. I will essentially be at the service of the FSF," Mady Touré told an audience of sports leaders and journalists. The candidate also outlined some of the main points of his platform, based on the principles of good governance and total transparency. He notably proposes limiting the term to three four-year terms to ensure regular renewal of governing bodies. Mady Touré insisted on the need to treat "everyone equally," without favoritism between professional and amateur football players. Moreover, he announced his intention to appoint the president of amateur football to the position of first vice-president specifically responsible for amateur football, which he considers "95% of Senegalese football." The founder of one of the country's most influential academies, Mady Touré now wants to put his experience at the service of the federation, pledging to break with any confusion of interests and work towards a more transparent and inclusive football.
