Tottenham caused a surprise this Saturday by winning 2-0 against Manchester City on the second day of the Premier League.
Spurs dominated a Citizens side lacking inspiration. Brennan Johnson opened the scoring in the 37th minute (1-0), before João Palhinha doubled the lead in added time of the first half (45+2).
Pape Matar Sarr, who started in midfield, once again delivered a top-notch performance, confirming his rapid adaptation to new coach Thomas Frank's system. The Senegalese player was voted Man of the Match.
The Danish coach, who recently arrived from Brentford, has made history by becoming the second manager, after Antonio Conte, to manage the Etihad Stadium with two different clubs.

Pape Matar cumule le milieu defensive /relayeur (combine 6 et 8) pour TT. Il se depense beaucoup et est partout... Il ne fait pas la meme chose avec l'Equipe national.
Il faut que ces joeurs jouent les meme position en Equipe national qu'en club c'est tout.
