PSG-Tottenham: Le match de Supercoupe d’Europe classé à "très haut risque" par les autorités italiennes
Italian security forces are mobilized to prevent clashes between supporters of the two teams.
The context is tense, and we're not just talking about the competition between PSG goalkeepers or the Russian-Ukrainian tensions between Safonov and Zabarnyi. PSG is facing Tottenham in the European Super Cup, which is taking place in Udine, Italy. Local and international authorities have decided to classify this match as "very high risk." A total of 1,000 police officers will be deployed on site.
1000 PSG ultras
As revealed by RMC Sport, around 1,000 ultras from the capital club will be present at the venue. A march of supporters is expected to take place from the city center to the Friuli stadium around 6:30 p.m. tomorrow. The Italian authorities, in agreement with UEFA, have planned the presence of police, carabinieri, and agents of the Guardia di Finanza.
The main goal is to keep the groups of supporters of both teams at a safe distance. On the English side, around 200 at-risk supporters are expected to make the trip.
