Thierno Bocoum défend Barthélemy Dias : « Il reste le maire légitime et légal de Dakar »
In a tense political climate in Dakar, the president of the AGIR–Les leaders movement, Thierno Bocoum, has taken a stand in support of Barthélemy Dias, whose role as mayor is currently at the heart of a controversy.
Thierno Bocoum first reiterated the legitimacy of the elected official: "Barthélemy Dias remains the legitimate and legal mayor of Dakar. Elected by direct universal suffrage, in accordance with the provisions of the General Code of Local Authorities, he can only be deprived of his mandate under conditions provided for by law and after a final judicial decision."
Then, reacting to possible administrative measures taken against the mayor of Dakar, Bocoum insists on their temporary nature: "Any administrative measure which tends to restrict his prerogatives is only provisional and remains liable to be annulled by the Supreme Court, the jurisdiction which guarantees legality."
Finally, he calls on the judicial authority to ensure that the popular will expressed during the municipal elections is respected: "We dare to hope that the Supreme Court, in respect of the law and the popular will, will restore Barthélemy Dias to all of his rights."

Et pourtout Bocoum aurait pu s'éviter toute cette torture qu'il est entrain de s'infliger. Sa haine le pousse a soutenir tout ennemi qui combat Sonko mais au finish Pros l'emporte toujours et Bocoum mord toujours la poussière.
C'est comme entendre que ton ennemi n'aime pas voir le sang et de se charcuter le corps pour lui faire mal.
C'est triste de voir un gars comme Bocoum tomber si bas.

Élu au suffrage universel direct, conformément aux dispositions du Code général des collectivités territoriales, il ne peut être privé de son mandat que dans des conditions prévues par la loi et APRES UNE CONDAMNATION DEFINITIVE. » c'est Bocoum lui-même qui le dit. Il est vrai que les moyens de la mairie de Barth qui avaient servi à soutenir la campagne de la coalition Samuel Sa Kaddu vont terriblement manquer pour les échéances à venir d'autant plus que Barth ne sera pas candidat.
