A woman left her partner in March after believing she had won €500,000 on a scratch-off ticket in Italy. It turned out to be a loser.

Oh dear! In Italy, a woman, convinced she'd won the jackpot with a scratch-off ticket, left her husband… before realizing the ticket was actually a loser. The incident occurred on March 8th in the town of Carsoli, as reported by the Italian news outlet TGCOM24.

It was actually the partner of the woman who had mistakenly claimed victory who had given her the scratch-off ticket for International Women's Day. And when they scratched it, the couple thought they had found the winning combination, with prizes that could reach up to €500,000. What's more, the shopkeeper confirmed to the pair that he had the winning combination.

Overjoyed to think they had won the jackpot, the woman and her partner agreed to share the winnings. However, things didn't go as planned: after depositing the ticket at the bank, the woman mysteriously disappeared without a word to her partner.

The couple mixed up two phone numbers...

As a result, the man reportedly filed a complaint with the Guardia di Finanzia, the customs and financial police, to claim his rights to the sum won.

And it was during the month of April that the couple were stunned to learn that the ticket was actually a loser, according to the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, the equivalent of the Française des Jeux (FDJ) in Italy.

In concrete terms, the duo did not scratch off the numbers completely and even confused 13 with 43. Bad news for this woman who, in the space of a month, lost her husband and her 500,000 euros.

Un homme ne ferait pas une chose pareille. Seul l'Homme est capable d'épouser une femme pauvre, l'entretenir, la couvrir d'ors, la chouchouter, l'enrichir... En revanche, une femme riche méprise généralement un homme pauvre à moins qu'il soit doter d'atouts indéniables au-dessous de la ceinture. Et si tu enrichis ta femme jusqu'à ce qu'elle n'ait plus besoin de toi financièrement, attends toi à ce genre de déconvenus comme ce qui est arrivé à cet Italien. Un consiglio per i saggi

Une histoire bien sénégalaise ! quand on ne sait pas inventer des histoires on reste tranquille ! ils ont cru avoir un ticket gagnant ... mais il n'avait pas gratté tout le numéro jusqu'au bout ! tieuy Après ils ont confondu le 43 avec le 13 ... vraiment ! pourtant ils sont si différents, en quoi le 1 ressemble au 4 ? ? Hein c'est quoi, tu n'as pas bien dormi ou quoi ? Après , ils ont déposé le ticket à la banque ... la femelle a disparu sans laisser de traces ! quelle banque est idiote au point de prendre un ticket de loterie, des tickets ultra surveillés sans vérifier auprès des autorités la véracité du numéro et du gain ! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! depuis quand un singe sait raconter des histoires drôles ? HEY , gnoun dou say morom ! yabaté !
