Attaques terroristes de ce samedi : Le porte-parole du gouvernement malien fait le point
At the end of the day of fighting against the terrorists who invaded the towns of Kati, Sévaré, Bamako, Gao and Kidal on Saturday morning, the Malian government has just given an update.
"These attacks unfortunately resulted in 16 injuries, including civilians and military personnel who were treated by medical facilities, and limited material damage," said government spokesman Brigadier General Issa Ousmane Coulibaly.
He assures, however, that the attackers' offensives have been contained. "Several terrorists have been neutralized and the sinister plan of the armed terrorist groups has been thwarted," he says.
Currently, the situation is totally under control in all the affected localities, assures the Brigadier General, who stresses that the transitional government condemns these terrorist “and cowardly” acts.
He assures that all measures will be taken to track down and bring to justice the perpetrators, accomplices and instigators of these acts.
