Grand Théâtre : Dakar, capitale de la musique pastorale
Guinean music star Saifond Baldé is expected in Dakar on June 27th for a mega concert at the esplanade of the Grand Théâtre.
After an initial meeting that fell through, the Guinean singer will indeed be present for a sound and light show.
With a strong presence in Senegal, Guineans are mobilizing, particularly the Fulani community, towards this show.
Certified as a Guinean Gold Record in 2024, Saifond Baldé is considered one of the sure values of African music, like his elders Sekouba Fatako, Mory Kanté, Sayon Camara or Sekouba Bambino.
Saifond Baldé is an artist acclaimed by international critics thanks to his prolific productions which contribute economically to the African music industry.
He is also expected at Seneweb's offices for his very first media appearance granted to a foreign media outlet.
