MASA 2026 : Qui est Khadija Ndiaye, la pépite sénégalaise qui éblouit Abidjan ?
Considered the "African Cup of Nations" of culture, MASA, commonly known as the Abidjan Market for African Performing Arts, remains one of the continent's largest cultural events. For its fourteenth edition, several young people working in the digital and new communication technology sectors were selected to participate in a competition for young African content creators. Among them is the young Senegalese videographer and photographer Khadija Ndiaye, recognized in the cultural landscape as one of the few women active in a sector often perceived as exclusively male.

Gifted with exceptional talent, Khadija Ndiaye has garnered widespread acclaim on social media thanks to her stunning videos and photos taken on beaches and in various locations throughout the Senegalese capital. She made a name for herself on TikTok and Instagram after showcasing her minimalist aesthetic to several upscale restaurants. A graduate with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness and a master's degree in environmental science (Mining, Oil and Gas Engineering), she also received training in digital marketing techniques in Burkina Faso and conducted advanced research on discoverability through a course with the International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF).

In 2023, she was recruited by the Grand National Theater of Dakar, where she held the position of Head of Digital Community. In record time, she raised the bar for the cultural institution's digital platforms, significantly increasing both the number of subscribers and the quality of content. Highly sought after by numerous artists such as Amadeus, Momo Dieng, and Ndakhté Lo to showcase their concerts and rehearsals, Khadija Ndiaye is now a leading figure in the Senegalese digital scene. Her participation in this prestigious competition at MASA is nothing less than confirmation of her talent and perseverance.
