FADP 2025 : 609 millions versés à la presse publique, découvrez les montants par organe
The Press Support and Development Fund (FADP) has allocated more than 609 million CFA francs to public press companies, according to the 2025 report published on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
For the Senegalese Press Agency (APS), the total amount allocated is 197 million CFA francs, plus 36 million CFA francs for its contribution to the rental costs of the Press House and Library (MPBT). The Director of Communication at the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications, and Digital Affairs clarified that this allocation to APS is in the form of a subsidy for the services it provides to other media outlets.
The Senegalese Radio and Television (RTS), for its part, received 186,341,031 CFA francs from the FADP to cover the remaining costs related to team travel during the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) coverage in Morocco. This is in addition to the 52 million CFA francs allocated by the State of Senegal for broadcasting rights.
The Press Distribution Agency (ADP) also benefited from FADP support for press distribution. In 2025, it received 190 million CFA francs to modernize, digitize, and professionalize the press distribution chain.
This funding helps in particular to strengthen the economic viability of press companies, to modernize production and distribution tools and to improve citizens' access to pluralistic, professional and quality information throughout the national territory.
