The Ministry of Finance has revised downward its hydrocarbon revenue projections for the period 2026-2028. This decision follows recent disruptions in the global oil market, notably the fall in prices, Le Soleil reports. According to new estimates from the Hydrocarbon Revenue Evaluation and Forecasting Committee, reported by the same source, Senegal is expected to generate a total of 227.22 billion CFA francs over the next three years, broken down as follows: 61.59 billion in 2026, 91.93 billion in 2027, and 73.70 billion in 2028.
