The President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar FAYE, visited the SEN-CSU booth at FIARA on Saturday, April 11, where he was welcomed by the Secretary General, Mr. Matar TRAORÉ. Mr. TRAORÉ briefed the Head of State on the program's progress in Senegal. From the ongoing national campaign in Dakar and the regions, to the system deployed at CICES, including health insurance and medical assistance, the Secretary General provided President FAYE with an update. He then presented President FAYE with his own insurance card, created symbolically for the occasion. " We are very pleased to welcome you here to present you with your insurance card, which is the culmination of a proven enrollment, registration, and production process ," Mr. TRAORÉ stated.

The Head of State, delighted to receive his health insurance card, commended the dynamic efforts undertaken in recent months by SEN-CSU, particularly its Director General, Dr. El Hadji Séga Guèye. He also encouraged SEN-CSU staff to intensify the ongoing campaign to ensure that every Senegalese citizen obtains their health insurance card, thus facilitating their access to healthcare. " You are doing excellent work, and I urge you to continue in this vein ," stated Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye.
The mayor of Dakar promises mass registrations in Dakar
Following the Head of State, the Mayor of Dakar, Mr. Abass Fall, visited the SEN-CSU booth at FIARA this Saturday, where he met with the Secretary General, Mr. Matar Traoré. The two men discussed enrollment projects for the residents of Dakar, and the Mayor expressed his desire to provide each of his constituents with an insurance card. " I am convinced of the relevance of this program, and I have already contacted the Director General, El Hadji Séga Guèye, to work towards this goal. The city of Dakar needs this social program to meet the demand for medical assistance that we receive every day, " he told the Secretary General of SEN-CSU. Following the Head of State, the Mayor of Dakar congratulated SEN-CSU for its work on the ground for the benefit of the Senegalese people, particularly vulnerable groups.
