Affaire Pape Cheikh Diallo : Un 57e suspect tombe à la Médina, nouvelles révélations sur le médecin de la CNTS
Under the command of General Martin Faye, the National Gendarmerie is intensifying its investigations in accordance with a judicial order issued by the investigating judge of the first chamber at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court. It is within this context that the Keur Massar Gendarmerie Company's Research Brigade made its 57th arrest in the case of Pape Cheikh Diallo and associates.
According to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb, the man arrested is a security guard in the Medina district. Furthermore, a suspect nicknamed "Petit" was apprehended Tuesday night at a fast-food restaurant where he works, located on 41st Street in the Medina. Both suspects have been taken into custody, and the investigating magistrate and Prosecutor Saliou Dicko have been informed of the facts.
Charges and remand in custody
Last Friday, the security guard and Dr. Serigne Mourtalla Guèye, a physician working at the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS), were charged and remanded in custody by the investigating judge of the first chamber on charges of criminal conspiracy and acts against nature, among others, according to Seneweb sources. The man known as "Petit," meanwhile, was charged and placed under judicial supervision.
Profile of the CNTS physician arrested
Dr. Guèye is a clinical hematologist specializing in blood transfusions. In collaboration with an NGO, he had conducted free consultations in several localities, including Touba and Diourbel, where children, particularly talibés, had benefited from his social initiatives.
Suspected of being in a relationship with Pape Cheikh Diallo, he was unable to convince investigators in the face of evidence collected using sophisticated technical tools employed by General Faye's men.
As a reminder, Dr. Guèye attempted suicide at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Diass (AIBD) when he was apprehended by the Air and Border Police.
The Senelec employee from Mbacké will soon appear before a judge
Following the extension of his police custody, Abdourahmane Diarra Ndiaye, a technical sales representative for Senelec in Mbacké, born in 1994 in the Louga region, single and without children, remains at the Keur Massar Research Brigade headquarters. During his interrogation, which was recorded in the official report, he detailed his relationship with the religious singer Ass Dione. He will be brought before the investigating judge of the first chamber of the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court next Tuesday. Further arrests are expected as part of the investigation.
