Administration territoriale : Le ministre de l’Intérieur lance le processus de validation du plan stratégique
The Minister of the Interior, Mouhamadou Bamba Cissé, launched the validation process for the strategic development plan of the Directorate General of Territorial Administration on Monday. According to him, this document represents a strategic vision, a compass to guide the State's actions at the territorial level in the coming years.
“This Plan reflects a strong conviction that I fully share: the effectiveness of public action necessarily depends on a robust, modern, and efficient territorial administration, capable of anticipating, coordinating, and acting methodically and with a focus on local needs. The analysis that underpinned the development of this Plan has allowed us to take a clear-eyed look at our territorial administration. It has highlighted important achievements that must be consolidated, but also structural challenges that must be addressed,” the Minister stated.
For him, these challenges should not be seen as weaknesses, but as levers for transformation, opportunities to strengthen the collective capacity to better serve the State and its citizens. Thus, through the Strategic Plan, the Directorate General of Territorial Administration aims to build, by 2029, a modern, accessible, efficient, and locally focused territorial administration, founded on the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Mr. Bamba Cissé made a personal commitment "to support its effective implementation, ensuring the establishment of an appropriate governance framework, rigorous monitoring of actions and continuous mobilization of the actors concerned, both at the central and territorial levels."
