Thanks to the "highly professional response of the (Malian soldiers)," the enemy was routed, the high-ranking officer asserted. "More than 200 terrorists were neutralized and several pieces of military equipment were recovered."
The terrorists want to put "pressure on different localities"
The situation is "gradually improving in the attacked areas, with the exception of the Kidal region where we are readjusting our deployment," reports Major General Oumar Diarra. According to him, the terrorists intend to continue their destabilization plan by "putting pressure on various localities and disrupting supplies to major cities."
