Côte d'Ivoire: trois ans de prison ferme pour 32 manifestants, à quatre jours de la présidentielle
Thirty-two people were sentenced Tuesday evening in Ivory Coast to three years in prison for participating in a banned demonstration earlier this month, a decision that comes amid a tense political climate, four days before the presidential election.
They were sentenced for "disturbing public order" and "assembling on the public highway." Last week, around thirty other protesters received the same sentence.
