Décès de Chuck Norris : Dolph Lundgren, Sylvester Stallone et Jean Claude Van Damme lui rendent hommage
The renowned American actor Chuck Norris died on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the age of 86 in Hawaii. His death has deeply saddened his colleagues.
Dolph Lundgren, the Swedish actor known for his testosterone-fueled action films, paid tribute to him in a message posted on Instagram.
“Chuck Norris is the champion. Since my beginnings in martial arts, then in film, I have always admired him and considered him a role model. A man who embodied the necessary respect, humility and strength. You will be missed my friend,” the “Creed 2” actor wrote on the social network.
"He was the quintessential American."
Dolph Lundgren had the opportunity to share film sets with Chuck. He notably worked with him on "Expendables 2".
Sylvester Stallone, another star of the action film series, also left a few words on Instagram after learning of the passing of the former karate champion.
"I had a great time working with Chuck. He was the quintessential American. A wonderful man and my deepest condolences to his wonderful family," the 79-year-old actor wrote.
"We've known each other since my youth and I've always had a deep respect for him."
His colleague Jean Claude Van Damme regretted the departure of a "friend".
"My deepest condolences on the passing of my friend, Chuck Norris. We knew each other since my youth and I always had a profound respect for him. All my thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will forever remain in our hearts," the Belgian wrote.
