Élection présidentielle en Guinée : Les électeurs absents au centre de vote du collège Moderne Yattaya
As Guineans go to the polls to elect their future president, the observation at the Yattaya Modern College, in the Ratoma commune, shows a low turnout at the start of the day.
On site, the polling stations opened on schedule, election officials were in place, and voting materials were available. However, voter turnout was low. Several registration tables remained almost empty, despite the presence of a few observers and representatives of political parties.
According to our correspondents, only a few citizens turned out early this morning to fulfill their civic duty. Officials at the polling station hope for a gradual increase in participation throughout the day.
No major incidents have been reported so far. The defense and security forces are ensuring the smooth running of the election.
