Élections en Guinée-Bissau : Les missions de l’Union africaine et de la CEDEAO saluent le bon déroulement du scrutin
The African Union and ECOWAS observer missions held a debriefing in Bissau following the presidential and legislative elections. They noted the calm, the discipline of the voters, and the good organization of the vote.
Observers highlighted, in particular, the timely opening of polling stations, the presence of representatives of political parties, and the availability of electoral materials.
While reaffirming their support for a transparent process, they call on political actors to exercise restraint and respect the results that will be officially proclaimed by the National Electoral Commission.
