France : un homme condamné pour le viol de son fils de 3 ans qu’il a filmé et diffusé sur Telegram
A man in his forties was sentenced on Tuesday, March 17, by the Ille-et-Vilaine departmental criminal court to 15 years in prison for the rape of his 3-year-old son, which he filmed and broadcast on the Telegram messaging service, the prosecutor's office confirmed to CNEWS.
A chilling story and extremely serious events
The Ille-et-Vilaine departmental criminal court tried a 40-year-old man on Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17, 2026, for the incestuous rape of his 3-year-old son, which he filmed and broadcast on the Telegram platform.
The father was also suspected of possessing child pornography. He was ultimately sentenced to fifteen years in prison, CNEWS learned from the Rennes public prosecutor, Frédéric Teillet, confirming a report by Ouest-France.
This is not the man's first conviction. In 2007, he was already convicted for possessing child pornography. In this new case, the events of which took place between 2006 and July 2021, the individual downloaded 40,000 files "depicting children – from infants to adolescents – in situations of masturbation, penetration by adults, other children, or animals."
Implicated in another case of rape of a minor
The man exchanged these images with other pedophiles in "chat rooms" on the Coco website and the Telegram app. The convicted man had also been banned from these chat rooms 17 times for "behavior deemed deviant."
