Mali : Les prix des produits pétroliers révisés à la hausse
This is not good news for Malian consumers. The government, through the Malian Petroleum Products Office (OMAP), announced yesterday evening, Friday, March 27, 2026, an upward revision of the prices of petroleum products and butane gas in the country.
Prices set "based on supplier prices for March 2026"
Super gasoline will now cost 875 CFA francs per liter, up from 775 CFA francs, and diesel will cost 940 CFA francs per liter, up from 725 CFA francs per liter, at the pump. A 2.75 kg butane gas cylinder will now cost 3245 CFA francs, and a 6 kg cylinder will cost 7075 CFA francs.
OMAP states that it set these prices "based on supplier prices for March 2026." It urges economic operators and service station managers to strictly adhere to these new official prices.
Note that the measure takes effect from this Saturday, March 28, 2026. It follows the adoption, by the Malian government, of a response plan to the possible effects of the crisis in the Middle East, during the last Council of Ministers.
