Mali : Les terroristes attaquent à nouveau un convoi de camions-citernes
In Mali, terrorists have once again struck the country's roads. On Saturday, December 6, 2025, they attacked a convoy of tanker trucks on the Bougouni-Bamako road.
According to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the soldiers who were ensuring the security of the convoy responded promptly, repelling the attackers.
"The situation is now under control. The damaged tankers have been taken into custody by the forces, while the rest of the convoy was escorted to its destination without further incident," according to the note published by the military hierarchy.
The appeal to the population
The General Staff of the Malian Armed Forces is urging the population to "report any suspicious activity or unusual behavior" because escorting these convoys is an "operational priority".
Last Saturday's attack comes amid the Malian government's efforts to end the country's fuel shortage, particularly in Bamako. It's worth remembering that these attacks on tanker trucks are what created this fuel crisis.
