Présidentielle 2025 en Guinée : Congés et voyages suspendus au ministère de l'Administration du Territoire
With just weeks to go before the presidential election scheduled for December 28, 2025, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization (MATD) is closing ranks. Its top official, Ibrahima Kalil Condé, chaired a technical meeting during which he announced a series of exceptional measures designed to ensure the department's full mobilization during this crucial election period.
According to a note published this Tuesday, October 14, 2025 by the ministry and consulted by Guineenews, no leave will be granted until the end of the electoral process, and a formal ban on leaving the national territory is now imposed on all MATD staff.
"As part of the administrative decisions, Ibrahima Kalil Condé announced the temporary suspension of travel outside the country for departmental executives, as well as the ban on leave and permission until the inauguration of the next elected president. These measures aim to ensure the full mobilization of the ministry's teams during this election period," the note reads.
This meeting also provided an opportunity to take stock of the progress made by the various departments of the ministry and to define priorities for the coming months, in a context marked by intensive preparations for the presidential election.
