PSG : Kylian Mbappé veut faire banquer les Qataris !
Kylian Mbappé's departure from PSG has led to numerous contractual complications. Both the French striker and the Parisian club are demanding €250 million. This situation is likely to be a painful one for one of them.
Kylian Mbappé joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024, and while the Bondy native is supposed to be a PSG legend (the club's all-time leading scorer), his contractual issues with the Parisian club are tarnishing this legacy. Indeed, Mbappé's free transfer to the Spanish capital has considerably irritated the Parisian management. For his part, KM7 is demanding significant unpaid wages and an astronomical sum in compensation from PSG.
€55 million in unpaid wages and the reclassification of his fixed-term contract as a permanent one (see the Adrien Rabiot case): this is what Kylian Mbappé was demanding from his former club. However, the newspaper Le Parisien reports that Mbappé's camp is no longer willing to accept this situation and is now demanding €260 million from PSG. This sum is justified as "damages for the losses suffered after his departure in the summer of 2024." An enormous sum, even for a club like PSG.
The Parisians, for their part, don't intend to let this matter drop. The media outlet goes on to explain that PSG is demanding €240 million from Kylian Mbappé. The capital club accuses the Madrid striker of "lying to them by promising he wouldn't leave on a free transfer." To support their claim, PSG plans to include a €300 million offer from Al-Hilal, which Mbappé rejected, before subsequently signing with Real Madrid on a free transfer. To be continued…
