UEMOA : Le Burkinabè Aboubakar Nacanabo prend la tête du Conseil des ministres

Burkinabe Minister of Economy and Finance, Dr. Aboubakar Nacanabo, was appointed President of the WAEMU Council of Ministers on Monday, October 6, 2025 in Dakar.

This appointment came at the end of the 3rd ordinary session of the Council, held at the headquarters of the BCEAO. Dr. Nacanabo succeeds Adama Coulibaly, Ivorian Minister of Finance and Budget, for a two-year term, in accordance with Article 11 of the Treaty of the Union.
