The CAF is imposing its bias on us. Let us firmly oppose it with the force of law. [BY Mactar Ndiaye Ndiaga]

La CAF nous impose son parti pris. Opposons-lui fermement la force du Droit [PAR Mactar Ndiaye Ndiaga]

This decision is so vile it's like a rotten pill. And we won't swallow it.

Not because it is unfavorable to us, but because it directly clashes with the very sense of justice and the spirit of sport.

The Confederation of African Football's position in the case between Senegal and Morocco exemplifies this trend. It is shocking not only because of its outcome, but especially because of what it pretends to ignore: the context, the principles, and the balance of the game.

What does football law say?

Law 5 of the IFAB Laws of the Game is unambiguous: the referee is the supreme authority in the match. His decisions, made on the field, are final. They cannot be erased or rewritten after the fact by any body unrelated to the immediate events.

Therefore, a crucial question arises:

How can an appeals court produce a different interpretation of sporting reality without a forfeit having been noted by the referee?

This shift is serious. It creates dangerous legal uncertainty for all of African football.

Beyond what happens on the field, there is something that some prefer to keep quiet about.

Eighteen Senegalese supporters, who came to support their team, now find themselves caught up in a foreign procedure, sentenced to terms of punishment that are difficult to understand in light of the facts.

How can we not see this as an injustice that goes beyond the legal framework and deeply offends the collective conscience?

Added to this is a deeper unease: that of practices and influences which, at several levels, undermine the credibility of African football.

The recurring suspicions surrounding certain spheres of the CAF no longer allow for the luxury of blind doubt.

Faced with this, Senegal must neither remain silent nor give in to emotion.

He must respond with clarity, firmness, and method:

• To challenge legally, based on the texts;

• Bring the case before the competent authorities, including international ones;

• To demand, on a diplomatic level, truth and fairness for its citizens;

• Strengthen its presence where these balances are decided.

Because the dignity of a nation cannot be defended through indignation alone.

It is built on the ability to impose the truth, with rigor, consistency and composure.

Well, bobu. Ñun duñu ñoom.

Wa salam.

    Merci Mr Ndiaye. Force restera au droit...et rien que le droit. Les marocains peuvent faire plier ce machin appelée (avec à sa tête un clown) la caf mais ne peuvent pas falsifier le droit.
