A few days after the arrest of 46 suspected homosexuals by the Keur Massar Research Brigade (BR), the local Territorial Brigade has dismantled another network. Four suspects were arrested and taken into custody on the orders of Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, according to Seneweb sources.
A denunciation that triggered the operation
It all started with a complaint. An individual reported to investigators his suspicions concerning one of his roommates, who frequently invited his friends into his room, from which emanated a strong, suspicious odor.
Armed with this information, the gendarmes organized a surprise raid on the house located in the Keur Massar Penitentiary district.
Upon arrival, police officers surprised four individuals gathered in a room. A search of the premises yielded marijuana, a bottle of lubricant, oil, and lip balm, among other items, according to Seneweb sources. Analysis of their mobile phones revealed incriminating messages confirming their alleged activities.
Faced with the converging evidence, the four accused confessed to having had sexual relations with each other. They are two students, SM Guèye and CT Anne, and two shopkeepers, PO Ndiaye and B. Sow.
After consultation with Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, they were taken into custody at the Keur Massar Territorial Brigade for criminal association, unnatural acts, possession of Indian hemp and voluntary transmission of HIV.
