Crises et mutations : Dr Mame Mor Ndiaye propose dans un ouvrage une nouvelle vision de la formation
A new tool for reflection and action has enriched the debate on the future of training in Africa. Dr. Mame Mor Diarra Ndiaye officially presented his book, "Functions of the Value Chain of Vocational and Technical Training," at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar on Friday, April 24, 2026.

The result of several years of research and extensive field experience, this book contributes to the transformation of African education systems. A lecturer and researcher at the Higher Polytechnic School of Dakar, the author offers a structured and innovative perspective on the challenges related to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
In a global context marked by economic, environmental, and health crises, as well as an acceleration of technological change, this book aims to provide a concrete response to contemporary challenges. It promotes an integrated and harmonized approach to vocational training, essential for strengthening skills and employability.
Prefaced by several renowned figures, the book goes beyond theoretical analysis. It provides policymakers, technical and financial partners, and education stakeholders with practical tools to better understand and manage the various functions of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training). Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and quality assurance are central to the mechanisms discussed.
Conceived as the first volume in an evolving series, this work aims to adapt to the changing realities of African states. It thus positions itself as a true strategic compass to support training policies and contribute to building a more inclusive and prosperous future for the continent.
