Festival de Cannes 2026 : Aucun film africain en compétition officielle
No African films are in official competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. However, the continent remains represented in the “Un Certain Regard” section, with three feature films selected.
These are the works of Clémentine Dusabejambo (Rwanda), Rafiki Fariala (Central African Republic) and Laïla Marrakchi (Morocco), demonstrating an African presence on the sidelines of the main competition.
