Nouvelle coopération militaire, Sahel, Gaza : Ce que Macron et Diomaye Faye se sont dit
During their meeting Wednesday at the Élysée Palace, Presidents Bassirou Diomaye Faye and Emmanuel Macron addressed major regional and international issues, reports Jeune Afrique. Paris expressed its concern about the political and security deterioration in the Sahel, where democratic transitions are slow in Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, under the control of military juntas that have broken with France.
The terrorist threat affecting these countries is now approaching Senegal, which has so far been spared despite its 400 km border with Mali. Despite the definitive departure of the French Forces from Senegal (EFS) in July, Paris and Dakar have agreed to strengthen their military cooperation to counter this risk.
Diomaye Faye, for his part, highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, welcoming Macron's diplomatic commitment to the recognition of the Palestinian state, planned for September at the UN General Assembly.
Senegal, which has chaired the United Nations Committee on the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People for more than forty years, supports this initiative, thus strengthening dialogue between the two nations on these global issues.

Y'a pas longtemps on disait France dégage, on fait partir les bases française et crie partout notre souveraineté nationale. On reserve même certaines visites aux ennemis de la France ( Mali, Burkina.....)
Et bizarrement en l'espace de même pas de six mois, on demande à la France de venir chez nous.
C'est sûr que je me suis trompé de vote.
