The Ordinary General Meeting of BANK OF AFRICA – SENEGAL shareholders, held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in Dakar, marked a major turning point in the subsidiary's trajectory, consecrating unprecedented financial performance and exceptional value creation for its shareholders.
For the financial year ending December 31, 2025, the Bank recorded a net profit of over 21.9 billion FCFA, exceeding the 20 billion FCFA threshold for the first time. This performance reflects the strength of the bank's model, the relevance of its strategic directions, and the commitment of all its teams.
Following these results, the General Meeting approved an exceptional dividend distribution of 18 billion FCFA, representing 82% of net income, corresponding to a net dividend of 450 FCFA per share. This particularly high level of redistribution represents nearly 50% of the share's nominal value, illustrating BOA-SENEGAL's commitment to providing an attractive and sustainable return to its shareholders.
All the resolutions submitted to the Assembly, including the approval of the accounts, the allocation of the result and the discharge of the directors, were adopted, confirming the shareholders' confidence in the governance and prospects of the Bank.With this new step, BANK OF AFRICA – SENEGAL confirms its position among the Group's best performing subsidiaries and continues its growth dynamic in service to its customers, its partners and the Senegalese economy.
