The hearings continue at the Presidential Palace. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye received Ilan Cockerill, President and CEO of Endeavour Mining Group, a Canadian mining company, this afternoon.
According to information from the Presidency, the discussions focused on the group's strategic investments in Senegal.
A key point has been the establishment of a factory dedicated to the processing of refractory minerals, which would be the twelfth of its kind in the world.
The gold mining company has expressed its desire to strengthen its presence in Sabodala with the prospect of new investments, particularly in the electricity production sector.
