PLF-2026 : Les budgets prévus pour les dépenses communes et le Ministère des finances
At the National Assembly, the Finance and Budgetary Control Committee concluded its work yesterday, Friday, by examining the common expenditure budget for the year 2026. It also examined the 2026 draft budget of the Ministry of Finance.
For the 2026 financial year, common expenditures are set at 902.4 billion CFA francs in Commitment Authorizations (CA) and at 487.9 billion in Payment Credits (PC).
Regarding the Ministry of Finance, its budget for 2026 is projected at 681.8 billion CFA francs in commitment authorizations and 676.3 billion CFA francs in payment appropriations. Compared to 2025, they have seen a decrease of 151.1 billion CFA francs in payment appropriations.
This decrease is mainly due to the reduction in funding for several programs, according to the ministry. Among them is the "Management, Coordination and Steering of the Ministry of Finance" program, whose budget is decreasing from 466.3 billion in 2025 to 269.4 billion in 2026.
The program for the preparation of finance laws and monitoring of execution also saw its allocation cut from 36.9 billion in 2025 to 24.5 billion in 2026.
