Renforcer la crédibilité financière du Sénégal grâce à l’évaluation du risque pays
On Monday, October 6, 2025, Minister Abdourahmane Sarr met with Mohamed A. Chérif, Resident Representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Dakar, to update Senegal's country risk profile.
This approach, essential for the State, determines the country's access to various types of financing, whether concessional loans, lines of credit, or direct investments. The independent assessment conducted by the AfDB provides a clear understanding of Senegal's economic strengths and vulnerabilities, allowing financial partners to better calibrate their commitments.
Beyond the purely technical aspect, this update of the risk profile contributes to strengthening the country's financial credibility on the regional and international scene. It influences investor perceptions and guides future cooperation strategies, both in the public and private sectors.
By engaging in this process, Senegal affirms its desire to consolidate its macroeconomic stability, secure its financing flows and optimize the management of its resources, while supporting the structuring projects included in Vision Senegal 2050.
