Décès d’un étudiant à l'UGB : La décision de ses camarades en attendant les résultats de l'autopsie
The Coordination of Students of Saint-Louis (CESL) announced on Sunday the tragic death of one of its members, Elhadji Birane Sène, which occurred at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis.
In a statement, the CESL specifies that the deceased was a former delegate of the scholarships, cards and transport subcommittee of the social commission. It praises "his strong sense of responsibility" as well as "his commitment to the student cause and his constant desire to serve his peers."
In homage to his memory, the coordination committee declared a day of mourning, accompanied by a 24-hour cessation of all non-renewable educational activities.
The CESL also offered its condolences to the family of the deceased and to the entire university community.
While awaiting the conclusions of the autopsy, she indicates that she is remaining vigilant and calls for speed in the processing of the case as well as in the communication of the results.
