La jeunesse au cœur de la transformation durable du bassin du fleuve Sénégal : bâtir la résilience, du Fouta Djallon au delta "
CALL FOR PROJECTS
The Senegal River basin faces major challenges related to the preservation and development of the Fouta Djallon massif, which shelters the source of the Senegal River. Extreme weather events, increasingly frequent and intense, threaten human lives, weaken ecosystems, affect essential economic activities, and compromise the food and water security of riverside communities.
Faced with this emergency, the Organization for the Development of the Senegal River (OMVS) is organizing the second edition of the OMVS Forum under the theme "Youth at the heart of the sustainable transformation of the Senegal River basin: building resilience, from Fouta Djallon to the delta".

This forum aims to bring together the key players in the basin – governments, institutional partners, scientists, international organizations, the private sector, startups, NGOs and sustainable development actors – to design sustainable solutions for a resilient future.
As part of this forum, the OMVS is launching a Call for Projects for Concrete Solutions related to the preservation and enhancement of the Fouta Djallon massif.
