Actes contre-nature : les aveux du vieux pervers du BRT, l’intelligence du garçon de 14 ans…, dernier épisode d’une sale affaire
One day this April, at 6 p.m. in the Aliou Sow housing complex, Mr. Sow, in his sixties, was waiting for his guest: Mr. Niang, a 14-year-old boy in his third year of secondary school. Surprise! The teenager burst into his host's room accompanied by police officers.
The 60-year-old was caught off guard; the lubricants he was holding betrayed his intentions. He wanted to have sexual relations with the child.
MA Sow was tried this Wednesday before the Pikine/Guédiawaye court for flagrant offenses on charges of harassment and pedophilia. "In the dock, cornered with digital evidence, the defendant collapsed: he ended up making chilling confessions, even admitting to being a regular in these dark practices," reports L'Observateur, which attended the trial.
The story between the elderly Sow and the ninth-grade student dates back to April 7. According to the account in the Groupe Futurs Médias newspaper, the accused, described as having "an impeccable appearance," spotted the boy near the Golf-Sud BRT station. "To lure him in," the newspaper continued, "he played the fatherly card, feigning interest in his academic future and offering to lend him math textbooks. Having gained his trust, the teenager gave him his phone number."
It was the start of a series of harassment acts. "Incessant calls, obscene videos, explicit sexual propositions... The sexagenarian stops at nothing, even going so far as to brandish his penis during WhatsApp video calls," notes L'Observateur.
The child resisted, stood up to the lecherous old man, and alerted his parents. They contacted the central police station in Dakar, which forwarded the case to the Golf-Sud police station. In connection with the boy, investigators set a trap for MA Sow, who took the bait by arranging the meeting with the boy, thus sealing his fate.
The court sentenced the elderly pervert to eight years in prison, along with a five-year ban on residing in Dakar and a five-year ban on acting as a guardian or curator. The prosecutor had requested a ten-year sentence, according to L'Observateur.
