Dakar-Plateau : deux ressortissants sierra-léonais arrêtés avec du kush et deux voleurs de moto déférés
The Dakar-Plateau District Police Station's Research Brigade carried out several raids during a particularly busy weekend. These operations are part of the authorities' instructions regarding large-scale operations to combat drugs and crime in the city center.
Twenty slabs of kush seized at the Kermel market
It was at the Kermel market that the police station's investigation unit made its first seizure. AB, 27, a dockworker residing in Yeumbeul, and FT, 21, also a dockworker residing in the port area, both Sierra Leonean nationals, were apprehended in possession of twenty slabs of kush. Placed in police custody for drug possession, they were ultimately brought before the High Court of Dakar.
Two motorcycle thieves caught red-handed
During the night from Sunday to Monday, the members of the Plateau police research brigade
They caught two individuals stealing a motorcycle in the city center. They are LS, 28 years old, a motorcycle mechanic residing in Medina, and ON, 29 years old, unemployed, residing in Thiaroye Gare.
CCTV footage formally confirms the facts, showing the two suspects forcing their way onto the motorcycle.
Placed in police custody for criminal association and theft committed at night, they were in turn brought before the High Court of Dakar.
