[EXCLUSIF] Affaire PCD : Un célèbre acteur et 2 agents du Port écroués, le maître coranique C. B. Mbacké et un vétérinaire libérés
The Keur Massar gendarmerie company's Research Brigade presented seven suspects to the investigating judge of the first chamber at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court this Thursday morning. This presentation is part of the ongoing Pape Cheikh Diallo and associates case, which continues to make headlines.
According to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb, those brought before the court include Quranic teacher Cheikh Bassirou Mbacké, actor Abdou Aziz Guèye from the series "Mariama," renowned veterinarian Ibrahim Bittar, painter Mohamed Diop, fashion designer El Hadji Malick Diao, and two employees of the Port of Dakar, Birahim Fall and Bamba Amar. Following their hearing with the investigating magistrate, all those implicated were formally charged.
The judge, however, decided on different security measures depending on the individuals' profiles. Four of them were remanded in custody: actor Abdou Aziz Guèye, fashion designer El Hadji Malick Diao, and the two Port of Dakar employees will thus spend their first night in jail. In contrast, veterinarian Ibrahim Bittar, suspected of being a partner of banker Doudou Lamine Dieng, was released under electronic monitoring.
Finally, the painter Mohamed Diop and the Quranic teacher Cheikh Bassirou Mbacké have been placed under judicial supervision. The latter, who was apprehended last Tuesday by the Diourbel gendarmerie before being transferred to Dakar, is now free to return to his family home in Touba after being formally charged.
