Forêt de Boune : Un dealer arrêté avec 39 képas de Kush par la police de Yeumbeul-Sud
As part of a security operation carried out yesterday Tuesday around 8 p.m. in the classified forest of Boune, an area frequented by dealers and serving as a transit zone for drugs, police officers from the Yeumbeul-Sud station led by Lieutenant Sow arrested a trafficker in possession of thirty-nine (39) képas of Kush carefully concealed in a bag.
During this surprise raid, members of the investigation unit apprehended D. Barry, a 23-year-old sheet metal worker residing in Keur Massar. A body search revealed that the suspect was found to be carrying drugs and 1,000 CFA francs.
Taken to the Yeumbeul-Sud police station, D. Barry admitted to owning the illicit goods during questioning. He stated that he acquired the drugs in Colobane for his trafficking activities but refused to reveal the identity of his supplier, according to Seneweb sources.
For the purposes of the procedure, the drugs and money were seized and placed under seal. After notifying Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, the dealer Barry was taken into custody. An investigation has been opened.
