Guédiawaye : un footballeur arrêté pour viol sur une élève de 15 ans
In its Wednesday edition, Les Échos reports that a professional footballer, OG Cissé, was arrested and taken into custody by the Golf-Sud police station. He is being prosecuted for rape and abduction of a 15-year-old minor, following a complaint filed by the victim's mother.
According to initial findings of the investigation, the teenage girl, a student residing in Las Palmas, was approached by the suspect on the Corniche Ouest in Dakar. He then allegedly took her to his home in the Medina neighborhood. According to the prosecution, "Cissé made advances toward the girl as soon as he entered the bedroom." Despite her resistance, her host allegedly forced her to have sexual intercourse, the same source alleges.
The newspaper reports that a medical certificate attesting to a "recent hymenal tear" was submitted to the file to support the complaint. When questioned by investigators, the suspect firmly denied the rape allegations, claiming the relationship was consensual. OG Cissé was brought before the prosecutor's office in Guédiawaye.
