The elements of the Research Brigade of the Jaxaay District Police Station arrested four members of a gang of seven criminals who had assaulted and robbed a man of his motorcycle on Friday, February 13, 2026. Three accomplices are on the run, including the one who is holding the stolen motorcyclist according to Seneweb sources.
On Friday, February 13, 2026, ID left Yoff on his Sport City motorcycle to visit his girlfriend who lived in Unit 17A of Jaxaay. Upon arriving at the Crédit Mutuel bank in that area, a group of seven individuals armed with knives appeared out of nowhere and held him at gunpoint.
They then stole his motorcycle before fleeing. The victim immediately went to the Jaxaay police station to file a complaint.
The investigations carried out by the elements of the Research Brigade led to the initial arrest of AD, 21 years old, a welder, residing in Jaxaay unit 20. Under questioning, he admitted to the facts and revealed that they were a group of seven people who had attacked the victim and stolen his motorcycle.
A raid ordered by officers during the night of February 16-17, 2026, led to the arrest of three more members of the gang. They are KM, 18 years old, residing in Jaxaay 17B; AGD, 18 years old, a bricklayer, residing in Jaxaay Unit 20; and KM, 17 years old, a mechanic, also residing in Jaxaay 17B. During questioning, they attempted to deny the charges, but their denials were unconvincing.
The rest of the gang, namely P. Moussa, also known as Kalamou, Badou, and Bass, have all fled their homes. According to information received, Bass is currently in possession of the stolen motorcycle. They are actively being sought by the authorities.
The four suspects arrested were taken into custody for conspiracy and armed robbery committed at night.
