Meurtre sur son époux B. Badji qui a pris une ‘’Niarel’’: La ‘’Awo’’ M. M. Coly envoyée en prison
Judge B. Badji of the Pikine-Guédiawaye court inherited the family tragedy involving polygamy that has been making headlines in the Colobane neighborhood of Pikine. B. Badji, 67, who had taken a second wife, succumbed to his injuries after being scalded by his first wife, Ms. Coly. Ms. Coly was brought before the Pikine Guédiawaye prosecutor's office by the Pikine police on charges of murder. Meanwhile, his two siblings, A. Badji and their neighbor H. Ndiaye, are being prosecuted for complicity.
According to Seneweb, contrary to the public prosecutor's request for arrest warrants for all defendants, the judge sent only Ms. MM Coly to prison. The investigating magistrate placed the two sons and the neighbor who had sheltered the victim in his home under electronic monitoring.
