Nioro : une élève de CM1 droguée, violée à répétition et mise enceinte par son voisin
An extremely serious incident has been reported to the Nioro police station. On Monday, May 4, 2026, a 62-year-old woman named D. Cissé, a shopkeeper residing in the Medina neighborhood, filed a complaint for rape of a minor resulting in pregnancy against her neighbor, M. Seck, also known as Mass Seck, according to Seneweb sources.
The complainant stated that the victim, her namesake DG, 11 years old and a student in the fourth grade, is under her care. As the two homes are adjacent, the girl regularly went to the accused's house to fetch water.
According to the statements gathered, one day when the young CEO was going there as usual, Mr. Seck allegedly forced her into his bedroom and served her a drink that made her unconscious, before sexually abusing her.
After the incident, he allegedly threatened to kill her to force her to remain silent. The following day, the girl, unable to attend classes due to severe pain, was sent home by her teacher.
The victim also reportedly confided to her guardian that she had been abused a second time by the same individual, who again threatened to kill her to keep her silent.
It was the discovery of the pregnancy that ultimately led to the filing of the complaint.
Mr. Seck has been taken into custody on suspicion of pedophilia, repeated rape of a minor resulting in pregnancy, kidnapping, abduction of a minor, and death threats. Prosecutor Abass Yaya Wane, head of the Kaolack prosecutor's office, has been notified and an investigation is underway.
