A tragedy has shaken the Ouagou Niayes 2 district, where an 18-year-old man lost his life following a fall from the second floor of his family home.

According to information reported to investigators by his father, EM Dia, the victim, identified as Doudou Guèye Dia, fell during the night of April 13, 2026. The father specified that his son, who was struggling with addiction problems, had been seriously injured in this accident.

The young man was rushed to Dakar's Main Hospital and admitted to intensive care. Despite the medical staff's best efforts, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

It was only two weeks later, on April 27, 2026, around 8 a.m., that the father went to the Biscuiterie-HLM district police station to report the death. Armed with a report of suspicious death, he requested an autopsy to shed light on the exact circumstances of the tragedy.

A request for a forensic examination has been sent to the relevant hospital services. The Public Prosecutor has been informed of the case, and an investigation is underway to determine the precise causes of this tragic death.

il fallait pas lui interdire de sortir. On enferme pas un humain libre. Sinon portez plainte où aller à l'hôpital psychiatrique. S'il se sent séquestré et pète un câble tout peut arriver

Chute mortelle du deuxième étage devant témoin. Pas besoin d'autopsie pour se donner bonne conscience.

Voilà un Corps, celui des Pompiers qui mérite encore plus de financement, plus de moyens modernes et même aériens, avec un hôpital spécial type CTO à l'entame en coordination avec le Santé-Militaire. **** Mais NON AU FINANCEMENT DES PARTIS POLITIQUES, de grâce !!!
