A scene of extreme violence has sown terror in the Thionakh Peulh neighborhood of Thiès. A man had his left hand completely severed with a machete during an altercation with several individuals. The victim was rushed to the hospital, and an investigation has been launched to find the perpetrators of this barbaric act.

Around 9 p.m., Mr. Sow, a resident of the Thionakh Peulh neighborhood, went to the Thiès Central Police Station's Urban Security Unit to report an altercation that had occurred in his neighborhood. He stated that his brother, Adama Sow, had just been the victim of extremely serious assault and battery. Police officers immediately went to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a crowd gathered at the scene and a gruesome sight. Adama Sow's left hand, completely severed, lay on the ground. The victim was immediately rushed to Saint-Jean-de-Dieu Hospital in Thiès for treatment. In addition to the total amputation of his left hand, Adama Sow also suffered a serious stab wound to his cheek, according to Seneweb sources.

The attackers have been identified but are on the run.

Witness statements gathered at the scene by investigators have allowed them to identify the alleged perpetrators of this exceptionally violent attack. The main suspect is believed to be Sada Ka, who allegedly acted with two accomplices named Sada Sow and Gorgui Sow. However, those present at the scene when police intervened claim to be unaware of the reasons that led to the altercation. The alleged assailants are still at large.

An investigation was immediately opened by the urban security unit of the central police station in Thiès in order to identify, locate and arrest Sada Ka and his two accomplices.
